How it works?

  1. Step #1 - Come to Englo every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Explore our upcoming events—all automatically displayed in your local time. Choose the one that works best for you and register. Once registered, you’ll unlock your access to the events!
  2. Step #2 - Each event is a (one-on-one) video-call
Our built-in video-calling software connects you one-on-one with another person for a seamless language exchange. Everything happens directly on our platform—no downloads required!
  3. Step #3 - We assign you a (Native) Speaking partner
Our smart matching algorithm will automatically pair you with a native speaker of your target language who also wants to practice your native language. No need to search, send invitations, or manage schedules. Everyone joins at the same time—just relax, and we’ll connect you with a random partner!
  4. Step #4 - You will speak for 20 minutes with each partner.
If each event lasts 90 minutes and we pair you with a new partner every 20 minutes, you’ll speak with approximately 4 partners by the end of the session. A built-in timer keeps track, so you’ll always know how much time you have left with each partner
  5. Step #5 - Exchange your language.
During each session, take turns practicing your target language and helping your partner practice theirs. This balanced exchange ensures both participants benefit equally. Whether you're focusing on grammar or just casual conversation, the goal is to learn, teach, and connect in a supportive and engaging environment
  6. Step #6 - We will help you with conversation starters and topics
In each event we suggest a conversacional topic. Usually a fun or interesting video that you can watch and then talk about with your partner. Also we give you some ice breakers, so your speaking partner will ask you questions (or vice versa).
  7. Step #7 - Rate the video-call
We want to make sure that all participants are committed to learning and not using the platform for other purposes. This is a requirement that allows us to keep a healthy community.
  8. Step #8 - Upgrade your learning with our PRO Features!
Our advanced tools (in the PRO features) provide detailed insights into your performance during the call, including personalized error analysis, real-time transcription, and comprehensive progress tracking using advanced AI technology.
  9. Step #9 - Come back next event!
Come back next event and keep practicing. New speaking partners, new conversational topics, new experiences will be waiting for you.

Which problems do we solve?

icon

Find partners

It's really hard to find partners to practice a second language. We have lots of natives who wants to exchange language and practice with you.

icon

Practice speaking

Speaking is the most difficult skill when you want to learn a new language. We help you practice speaking with real people (not boring AI's).

icon

No active search

No need to worry about finding someone available—we’ll instantly and automatically match you with a partner from anywhere in the world!

icon

Mandatory Reviews

We have very strict rules for the community. Everyone must give reviews. At the first offense the person is removed from the platform.

icon

Intermediate Level

We fill the gap that exist between the intermediate level and the advanced level. Our solution is not for beginners.

icon

Security

A video call does not affect your security. Everything happens within our platform, you are not sharing your personal information at any time.

icon

Community Driven

Make friends, get to know people from all over the world, and practice with them. We are a community of language learners.

icon

No theoretical lessons

This is not a course, neither an app with theoretical excercises. if you have an intermediate level, speaking is all what matters.

icon

PRO Features

Our advanced tools (*in the PRO features) provide detailed insights into your performance during the call, error analysis, real-time transcription, and more using advanced AI technology.
